  K50288 Trooper (Sherbrooke Fusiliers) Austin William Brazier (b.1924) of Quill Lake was KIA 19441005 north of Antwerp and is buried at Bergen op Zoom Canadian war cemetery, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. His English father William and Scottish mother Jessie settled at Quill Lake when Austin was a small child. Austin was born at Saskatoon and was working as a mechanic at Rose Valley when he enlisted at Vancouver early in 1943.
