| R102019 Flight Sergeant (RCAF) Maurice John Bracey (1915) of Weyburn died 19420930 and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial just west of London, England, for airmen from the north European theatre who died with no known grave. Bracey's Wellington crashed in the North Sea on a training flight from No. 23 Operational Training Unit. Maurice was born at Halbrite to John Robert and Louise Agnes Bracey (who later retired to Regina), graduated from high school at Verwood and was working for the provincial government when he enlisted in 1941. |
