| L22816 Private (Winnipeg Grenadiers) Albert Edward Boulding (b.1915) of Pilot Butte was captured during the fall of Hong Kong. He died 19440107 of beri beri and dysentery in a POW camp and is buried at Yokohama war cemetery, Japan. He was the son of Ernest Maxwell and Effie Boulding. Albert was born at Victoria, British Columbia, and was a farm labourer, often at Imperial, when he enlisted at Regina early in 1943. |
