| L8989 Rifleman (Regina Rifles) Andrew Bonville (b.1920) of Peesane was KIA 19440704 at Rots and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. Bonville's family came from Ontario to Old Arborfield in 1912. He was the son of Amanda Bonneville of Peesane and later of Torquay. Andrew was born at Zenon Park and educated there and at Peesane. He was a sawmill worker when he enlisted at Saskatoon late in 1941. Note that his family spelled the name as Bonneville. |
