Narrative history
  L105169 Rifleman (Royal Winnipeg Rifles) Thomas Vivian Bird (b.1920) of Red Deer Hill was KIA on D-Day 19440606 and is buried at Bény-sur-Mer Canadian war cemetery near Reviers, Calvados, France. He was the son of Thomas and Charlotte Bird. Thomas Jr. was farming south of Prince Albert when he enlisted at Regina early in 1943 and left a wife Marie Sylvia and children Rose Marie, Lena, Christina and Thomas at Red Deer Hill.
