Narrative history
  J17924 Pilot Officer (No. 424 Tiger Squadron RCAF wireless air gunner) Colin Muir Binnie (b.1922) of Tullis was KIA on his 21st birthday 19430729 in a Wellington crash in Tunisia and is buried at Enfidaville war cemetery. He was the son of George and Catherine (Muir) Binnie who came from Scotland to homestead SW4-24-8-W3 northeast of Lucky Lake in 1905. Colin attended Gumbo Flat school and was farming when he enlisted at Saskatoon in 1941.

PG Heden died in the same incident.
