Narrative history
  L64364 Corporal (Regina Rifles) Francis Edward (Ted) Belton Jr. (b.1918) of Star City was KIA 19450409 at Deventer during the liberation of the Netherlands and is buried at Holten Canadian war cemetery, Overijssel, Netherlands. His parents Francis Robert and Emma (Bartlett) Belton were both born in England, arriving in Canada in 1910 and 1912 respectively, they homesteaded SE14-43-17-W2. Ted attended South Star school and farmed before enlisting at Regina early in 1942.
