| L13207 Private (Fusiliers Mont Royal) Alexander Raphael (Alex) Beaulieu (b.1913) of Lebret was KIA 19440726 during the push to Falaise and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. Alex was the son of Magloire (Mac) and Octavie Beaulieu and was originally from the Jasmin area. He was raised by Simon and Emelie Blondeau who homesteaded SE3-21-13-W2 just north of Fort Qu'Appelle. Alex was a farm labourer and road construction worker when he enlisted at Regina in 1940. |
