Narrative history
  R254110 Pilot Officer (No. 428 Ghost Squadron RCAF air gunner) Arie Gordon (Gord) Baxter (b.1923) of Moose Jaw was KIA 19441205 in a midair collision and is buried at Brookwood military cemetery, Surrey, just outside of London, England. Baxter's Lancaster and a Halifax collided near Rugby in a raid that was supposed to take them to Soest. He was the son of William Gordon and Ella (Van Teperen) Baxter. Gord was a student when he enlisted at Regina in 1943.
