Narrative history
  L103791 Rifleman (Regina Rifles) Edward (Eddy) Bachman (b.1922) of Ridgedale was KIA 19440709 at Caen and is buried at Bény-sur-Mer Canadian war cemetery near Reviers, Calvados, France. He was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Selinger) Bachman who homesteaded SW2-22-25-W2 southeast of Holdfast, moving to Paddockwood during the Depression and later to Ridgedale. Eddy was farming when he enlisted at Regina at the end of 1942.
