Narrative history
  L107646 Private (Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders) Thomas Antony of Saskatoon died 19440814 in Operation Tractable during the push to Falaise and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. Antony was missing in action at Clair Tizon and later died of his wounds. Although the official record shows him in the QOCH, he appears on the honour roll of the South Saskatchewan Regiment. He was the son of Harry and Dora Antony, Harry came from Ukraine and worked as a miller. Thomas was born at Winnipegosis, Manitoba, educated at Saskatoon Tech and was a student when he enlisted at Regina late in 1943.
