Narrative history
  L86975 Sergeant (Royal Winnipeg Rifles) Arnold Richard Andres (b.1920) of Saskatoon was KIA 19440828 at Tourville after crossing the Seine and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. He was the son of Philip and Mary Andres. Arnold was born and educated at Melville before completing a program at Saskatoon Tech. He was working at Broadway Bakery when he enlisted at Camp Vernon in 1942, leaving a wife Justina, a son and a daughter later of New Westminster, British Columbia.
