Narrative history
  L55484 Gunner (15 Field Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery) William Gudmundur Anderson (b.1914) of Wynyard died 19430705 of tuberculosis and is buried at Brookwood military cemetery near London, England. Anderson's health began to deteriorate in Novenber 1942 and he died at 10 Canadian general hospital, Watford, Hertfordshire. William's parents were both Icelandic, his father Hannes Skuli coming from Gimli to the Sleipnir district in 1905, his mother Margaret from North Dakota. They homesteaded SE30-32-15-W2 near Mozart. William was born at Wynyard and was farming when he enlisted at Broadview a yaer before is death.
