| R196689 Leading Aircraftman (No. 435 Chinthe Squadron RCAF airframe mechanic) Gordon John Anderson (b.1924) of Saskatoon died 19441220 when his motorcycle collided with a truck and is buried at Imphal war cemetery in northeastern India. He was the son of Joseph Haddock and Edith Anne (Burgess) Anderson who came from Manitoba. Gordon graduated from Nutana collegiate and was working for the Bank of Nova Scotia when he enlisted at Saskatoon late in 1942. His brother Bob also served overseas with the RCAF. |
