Narrative history
  L53852 Trooper (1st Hussars) Arthur Edward Willis (b.1922) of Moose Jaw was KIA 19440808 in Operation Totalize during the push to Falaise and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. He was the son of William John and Rose Harriett Willis. Arthur attended Balfour Tech at Regina and was working as a carpenter when he enlisted at Regina in 1941. He married Betty Joan (King) of Lymington, Hampshire, England, three weeks before his death, Betty later moved to Moose Jaw.
