Narrative history
  Lieutenant (Regina Rifles) (William) Cyril White (b.1921) of Regina was KIA 19440708 by machinegun fire at Abbaye d'Ardennes and is buried at Bény-sur-Mer Canadian war cemetery near Reviers, Calvados, France. He was the son of William Martin and Florence Marjorie White. Cyril was born at Cupar, graduated from Scott collegiate and left a wife Ivadelle. He enlisted (L23009) at Regina on the outbreak of the war and was commissioned from the ranks.
