Narrative history
  R103759 Flight Sergeant (No. 424 Tiger Squadron RCAF navigator) William Fredrick (Bill) Topping (b.1918) of Calgary, Alberta, was KIA 19430312 and is buried at Uden war cemetery, North Brabant, Netherlands. Topping's Wellington was lost during a night raid. He was the son of Edward James and Clara Mary (McWhinney) Topping who later moved to Prince Albert. E.J. came from Belfast, Ireland, to homestead SW20-20-25-W2 in 1908 and later bought grain at Findlater. Bill was educated there and at Balfour Tech, Regina. He worked as a store clerk for McLeods before enlisting at Calgary in 1941.

AP Larson died on the same flight. First cousin of FW Topping.
