Narrative history
  R142181 Flight Sergeant (No. 76 Squadron RAF Halifax air gunner) Denis Tolman Shaw (b.1923) of Regina was KIA 19430731 over Remscherd and is buried at Rheinberg war cemetery north of Duisberg, Germany. He was the son of Arthur Frederick Charles Cornish, a draftsman, and Elen Mary (Forcey) Shaw who came from Bristol, England, and later retired to Fort Langley, British Columbia. Denis attended Victoria school and Balfour Tech and was working as a clerk at Ashdowns hardware when he enlisted at Regina late in 1941.
