Narrative history
  L6032 Sergeant (Canadian Intelligence Corps) George Anthony Osipoff (b.1919) of Regina was KIA 19440809 in Operation Totalize during the push to Falaise and is buried at Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian war cemetery, Calvados, France. He was the son of Anton and Teela Osipoff and left a wife Ethel Mary (Hammond) at Chichester, West Sussex, England (she later moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba). George was working as a furrier when he enlisted at Regina on the outbreak of the war.
