Narrative history
  L1553 Corporal (Saskatoon Light Infantry) James Garnet Myers (b.1913) of Saskatoon was KIA 19440521 during the assault on the Hitler line and is buried at Cassino war cemetery, Frosinone, Italy. James was working as a warehouseman for Hudson Bay Transportation when he enlisted at Saskatoon late in 1939.

Brother of MD Myers. They were the sons of William Henry and Charlotte Myers who homesteaded SW24-28-8-W2 west of Theodore, later settling at Regina. Both boys were born at Prince Albert and attended Balfour Tech at Regina.
