Narrative history
  R107981 Flight Sergeant (No. 428 Ghost Squadron RCAF pilot) Walter Edward Mann (b.1923) of Regina was KIA 19430513 and is buried at Dieppe Canadian war cemetery, Hautot-sur-Mer, Seine-Maritime, France. Mann's Wellington was shot down during a night raid. He was the son of William Henry and Louisa Sarah (Munday) Mann who retired to Vancouver, British Columbia, after the war. Walter attended both Scott collegiate and Balfour Tech and went straight from school to the RCAF at Regina in 1941.
