Narrative history
  617644 Sergeant (No. 61 Squadron RAF wireless air gunner) Henry George Loates of Regina was KIA 19410302 (age 25) and is buried at St. Mary churchyard, Great Bircham, Norfolk, England. Loates' Hampden was lost during operations. He was the son of Herbert George and Elizabeth Loates who later retired to Vancouver, British Columbia. Henry enlisted in the RAF before the war.
