Narrative history
  L106226 Private (Algonquin Regiment) Donald Adolpheus Jaeger (b.1923) of Regina was KIA 19441005 north of Antwerp and is buried at Adegem Canadian war cemetery, Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium. He was the son of Edward A. and Christine (Mogen) Jaeger who came from Minnesota to homestead NW35-29-26-W2 southwest of Amazon (south of Watrous) in 1908 and retired to Regina. Donald was born at Watrous, educated at Amazon and Balfour Tech and was working as a hardware clerk when he enlisted at Regina in 1943. His brother Horatio also served in the Army.
