Narrative history
  R70907 Warrant Officer 2 (No. 112 Squadron RAF pilot) Gordon Macleod Dunn (b.1919) of Regina was KIA 19421213 and is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial near London, England, for airmen from the north European theatre who died with no known grave. Dunn's Wellington was lost in transit to the middle east via Gibraltar. He was the son of Charles Morton Dunn who came to Melville from Nova Scotia to teach and was later in the insurance business, his mother Katie (McLeod) was from Neudorf. Charles was the Liberal MLA for Pheasant Hills and Francis 1929-38 and the family moved to Regina when he was appointed as the highways minister in 1934. Gordon attended school at Melville and at Central collegiate and Campion college. He was born at Granum, Alberta, and was a student when he enlisted at Regina late in 1940.
