  L64502 Rifleman (Regina Rifles driver mechanic) Michael Joseph (Mike) Bokitch (b.1920) of Regina was KIA 19450330 at Emmerich during the assault crossing of the Rhine and is buried at Groesbeek Canadian war cemetery near Nijmegen, Gelderland, Netherlands. He was the son of Martin and Magdalena Bokitch and left a wife Ruth Charlotte (Schick) who later moved to Vancouver. Mike was working as a glazier for Western Manufacturing when he enlisted at Regina late in 1941.
