Narrative history
  925805 Private (5th Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment) James Robert Jones (b.1896) of Vibank was KIA 19170816 near Vimy and is commemorated on the Vimy Memorial north of Arras, Pas-de-Calais, for the 11,000+ Canadian soldiers who perished in northern France with no known grave. He was the son of William and Annie M. Jones of Moy, Tyrone, Ireland. James was working as a clerk when he enlisted at Regina in 1916.
