  104967 Private (28th Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment) Levi Hyde (b.1888) of Springside was KIA 19181011 at Thun-Saint-Martin and is buried at Niagara cemetery, Iwuy northeast of Cambrai, Nord, France. Levi was a native of Street, Somerset, England, and was a labourer when he enlisted at Yorkton late in 1915, leaving a wife Elsie who later moved to Hamilton, Ontario.
