Narrative history
  718433 Private (28th Battalion, Saskatchewan Regiment) Charles Daniels (b.1896) of Meadow Lake was KIA 19181011 at Thun-Saint-Martin and is buried at Niagara cemetery, Iwuy northeast of Cambrai, Nord, France. He was the son of John Daniels of Battleford. Charles was born at Battleford and was a labourer resident at Onion Lake when he enlisted first at Winnipeg, Manitoba, early in 1916. For whatever resaon he was released in August but re-enlisted at Saskatoon in October, this time describing himself as a farmer from Meadow Lake.
